consists of one, 11.5 x 16-inch, 24-page, alternative press weekly newspaper from New York City. It is filled with sixties counterculture attitude, music, dope, articles about social justice, Vietnam anti-war protests and politics, community, personal freedom, topical commentary, spiritual discovery, psychedelic artwork, book reviews, and comics. The cover of this issue is signed by artist, Kim Deitch. His comics on page 4 are also autographed. Other noteworthy pieces in this issue are: a great article about WBAI-FM, which during this period was the NY source for music that mattered; a great article about the band MC-5 by Lita Eliscu; a terrific full page comic by Spain Rodriguez commemorating the patchover to Hells Angels by the Buffalo, NY, Road Vultures Motorcycle Club; emotional review of the Incredible String Band's concert at the Fillmore; Jaakov Kohn interviews Abbie Hoffman. It is the May 14, 1969 issue.
