    Description

Vintage original and rare June 2, 1963, Long Island Daily Press Newspaper Sunday Edition.  The paper has been gone since 1977 but this copy survives and is in great condition for almost 60 y.o. with five sections totaling 84 pgs. including 19 pg. Parade Magazine (Section 5).  However, Section 3 is missing but paper appears untouched.   A very interesting edition looking at some headlines Pope John XXIII was dying (and died day of publication) and Section 2 discusses upcoming showdown in Alabama (which occurred less than 10 days later) between Kennedy and Gov. Wallace aka ' Stand in the Schoolhouse Door'.  Section 4 is weddings, entertainment and fashions.  Again, condition is very good some foxing along edges normal with newspaper age.  Open up and enjoy it for what appears to be first time!   Zoom in on pics.  This ships fast and FREE!  Contact us any questions we try our best and please follow our store we focus on rare and unique.
