This is a such a fun park scene with a sliding pond and a ball player!
This Day of the Dead shadow box features three people playing in the park. One is climbing the sliding pond ladder, one is sliding down, and one is getting ready to kick the ball!
The background of the shadow box is painted with clouds and a tree. The tree leaves and flowers are made of glitter!
The characters are depicted in Day of the Dead.
The diorama box is painted red on its sides and back with a glass top, so you can see the action from the top.
The box measures 3-1/8 inches in width x 2-1/8 inches in height x just under 1-1/2 inches in depth.
This is a handmade and hand painted piece of folk art. There are artist irregularities that can be seen upon close inspection. The artist uses a type of tape to hold the glass to the box and in some cases there could be a small gap in the tape that looks like a chip in the box frame. This box has no chips, cracks or repairs.
Please note that the because of the glass, the shadow box is hard to photograph. There are shadow lines and glare spots on certain photos. Please review them all to get a full picture of the item.
