Sony ICF-2010 PLL Synthesized Radio Receiver (looks good, has error #3)

Description

This receiver, serial number 353184, is in pretty good cosmetic condition. It's not perfect as there are some scuffs and scratches here and there, but overall I'd rate the cosmetics as an 8-out-of-10. It had no batteries installed when we acquired it, and all seemed well when we installed the two AA-batteries for the clock. However, when we inserted three D-batteries, we got the "error.3" message. I got the same message when powering it up with a 4.5VDC supply. I'm not really familiar with this model (let alone the error messages), but a quick Google search seems to imply that it is repairable. It is being sold 100% as-is, but I hope it finds it's way to a good home that'll get it going again!
