Upon inspection of the device,
I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
There are noticeable scratches on the top, sides and bottom of the device.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
There are minor scratches on the screen.
I was able to power on the device.
I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test each RCA audio input jack. All RCA input jacks (Phono, SA-CD, MD/DAT, Tape-CDR, SAT/CATV, DVD/BD, Video 2, Video 1, Video 3, TV, Multi-Channel) were tested to be working.
I was able to play music through the speaker using all speaker terminals and all Pre Out RCA output jacks (Front, Center, Subwoofer, Surround, Sur Back).
I was able to hear audio through the headphone jack using a pair of in-house headphones.
The Digital Audio Coaxial & Optical inputs and the Optical output were tested to be working using an in-house Analog to Digital converter.
I was able to test the FM antenna port to be working using an in-house FM antenna. I was able to tune to an FM radio station.
I was able to test the RCA video input jacks to be working with an in-house camera inputted to the SAT/CATV, DVD/BD, Video 2, Video 1, Video 3 and EXT Video inputs.
However, the video coming out of the Monitor Video Out RCA jack
on an in-house monitor
is amber in color and has lines going through it vertically.
The video coming out of the Zone 2 Video Out RCA jack is normal.
I then determined that the HDMI Out port is non-functional.
Because of this, I am unable to confirm if the HDMI inputs are working or not.
All front buttons were tested to be working.
I was able to change between inputs with the Input Selector knob.
The Speakers, Tone, Tuning and Master Volume knobs were tested to be working.
I was able to control the device with an in-house universal remote.
The XM, DMPORT, Sirius, Serial, IR Remote (ports), Trigger, CTRL S, Component RGB and S-Video ports are untested.
The device is sold as is for parts, repair or as a partially working item.
No remote is included.
