Zenith Trans-Oceanic FM - AM Multiband Royal '3000-1'

Description

For sale is a Zenith Trans-Oceanic FM - AM Multiband Royal 3000-1 portable radio. It was supplied with a 9V wallwart, but is rated at 12v. It worked fine on 9V. It has sit for over a year. It is listed as not working because I had to jiggle the cord and tap the volume control to get it to work. I was able to tune in local AM and FM stations, along with WWV and WWVH on 5 and 10 MHz. There is space for a battery pack but I do not have one. There is a wavemagnet antenna on top for AM operation and a long telescoping antenna in the handle for shot wave. The same antenna for shortwave is used for FM. There is also a pull out spiral bound book and page 2 has brief operating instructions. This book also has schedules for short wave stations and a list of FM stations. Only two stations are listed for Hawaii so the info is not anywhere close to up to date.
